THE SANCTORIUM

Ages ago, there were five blessed demigods sent by the heavens to keep the world in equilibrium and bring prosperity. After leading difficult lives full of strife and tragedy, the demigods fell from grace over time and one-by-one, corrupted into Demons.

In the modern age, the heavens sent forth five new souls to even the balance one again and return the world to an era of good. This time, however, the five Divines were not yet granted knowledge of their powers from their onset. They were given normal births and lives, up until adulthood, where they would stand the tests of the world's sin and misery. Only after succeeding would they be ordained as Divine.

Lixing, the once bringer of all knowledge and insight, knew that five new souls were created to replace the Demons. With his intentions obscured - a seething mix of anger, sadness, and power-hungry selfishness - he set out to reunite the Demons that each fell into isolation, and to find the new Divines. Each had their counterpart, a soul fit to match their own, yet they would strive against. But it would be fate that drew them together.

* Yes, this is a CRK AU/rewrite, or some kind of insane OC-ification/my version shit idk. I've redeveloped the characters so much that I consider them my own babies, especially Amita, Lixing and Naomh. If you hear me refer to them as my OCs then like look the other way ok?
